Seeking Consistency

Consistency is definitely lacking at times!

On Friday, Dec 9th 2005, The Star Biz carried the following article: Impressive Edge sees turnover hitting RM24m on higher capacity ( See the comments in red in the said article)

Now Impressive Edge is one of them newly listed Mess-Daq stocks.

And here is how it has been doing since listing.

Hardly impressive, tiok boh?

And naturally I wasn't too impressed either.

For sure, companies like this needs to be questioned when they make such bold and optmistic targets in the press, right onot?

But what truly baffles me is that BSA was not querried for its blatantly outrageously bold statement the other day. Do refer to this blog entry, BSA , posted the other day.

BSA boldly projected its net earnings will increased 60-70 million the next fiscal year. Well, BSA only managed 17.853 million for fiscal year 2004. And the current fiscal year 2005, its has already reported 3 quarters of earnings. And the net earnings is only 10.771 million. The same period last year? It managed to earn 13.948 million. Now with the total earnings significantly lower than its previous year total for the same period, BSA made such blatant claims.

BSA International Bhd is aiming for profits of RM60mil to RM70mil next year, said group executive chairman Tan Sri Dr Cam Soh Thiam Hong.

Based on past performance, the company was confident of achieving a 30% increase in profits for 2006, he said.

LOL! Only 30% meh? (sibeh terror calculations lor!)

Soooooooooooooo how come till today... BSA has yet to be querried?????

How cannnnnnnnnnnn???

Can we hope to see much better consistency?
