On CNBC.com, Futures Fall as Dollar Soars
- Futures pointed to a lower open for Wall Street Monday as the dollar and U.S. Treasury yields soared on the back of last week's cheerier jobs data, which prompted speculation that the Federal Reserve may raise rates at its next meeting.
Oh yes, the soaring Treasury yields is already causing carnage. ( See Getting Burned In US Treasury Notes And Bonds - warning sign there, no? )
And as noted by most FX gurus, the greenback which had corrected tremendously, is due for its bounce. And today the Dollar soars.
And gold?
