I was surfing the net and I came upon Alex's latest posting: Technical Analysis- ignore it at your own risk
The very first line caught my attention: "A reader, ronnie posted this comment yesterday: "Did u called to buy citi @ USD48 & MEGB @ 2.12.."
That comment originated from http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=29462482&postID=8619920949038848713
Now check this out. On the first line of the comment, we see 'ronnie said...'. Now roll your mouse over the name or conversely you can click on it, nevertheless, the result is the same.
What you get is http://www.blogger.com/profile/13845454760825339051
Now check this out. On the posting, Would You Be Disgusted With The Relisting Of Johor Port?, click on the comment posting.
On the first line of the comment, you will see KL Investing Blog said. Again, roll over the name or you can click on it. What do you see?
http://www.blogger.com/profile/13845454760825339051
Same blogger profile but different user name!
Here's one more. On the posting Can You Say No Class?, you can see neno said. Again roll over the name. What do you see?
http://www.blogger.com/profile/13845454760825339051
Again the same blogger profile but different user name!
On the posting Why I Don't Like Private Placements At All. you can see the ronnie commenting. And again the profile is the same http://www.blogger.com/profile/13845454760825339051
Now there's one ronnie who usually comments on my blog. One of his comments can be found A Quick Look At Xingquan's Earnings. You can rollover his name 'ronnie' and you can tell that profile is totally different! (the style of the writing is different too!)
Which is why I made this posting: Impersonator Alert!!! and blogger snowball made this posting: Impersonator Alert- If the person does not sounds like me, it is not me..
And in that posting, you can see TWO Mun Wai comments.
The real one: Mun Wai said... his HER profile is http://www.blogger.com/profile/14878942945456628527
The fake one: Mun Wai said... his profile is http://www.blogger.com/profile/13845454760825339051
THE VERY SAME BLOGGER PROFILE THAT IS SPAMMING ALL LOCAL STOCK BLOGS: http://www.blogger.com/profile/13845454760825339051
Yes, in blogspot, it's POSSIBLE to have a common name as other bloggers and it's possible to change name as many times as possible.
SO BLOG READERS, DO TAKE NOTE OF THIS SPAMMER!!!
So why is this happening?
Read again the posting on Alex blog. What's THIS SPAMMER trying to do? 'Cari pasal with Alex'?
Why?
ps: Check this OLD posting out: http://fusioninvestor.blogspot.com/2009/02/some-thoughts-on-stock-calls.html
Can you see Samgoss openly posting a hatred comment on that blog posting?
Now obviously since the comments were clicked and the user name cannot be change. That posting was made on February 18, 2009 9:41 AM.
Now look at the very next posting made on February 18, 2009 9:43 AM.
The username is now different! okating said...
But the contents of the comments are the same.
Caught red handed!

Bingo!
Hi Moola,
This is Alex Lu of Nexttrade.
Thanks for the hat tip. I am not as internet savvy as you but I've always suspected that some of the comments made on my blog are all made by the same person. In particular, the language used by one commenter, Neno sounds almost like Sam. It is so outrageous that I don't believe Sam would go so low as to pretend to be someone else and post a comment in my blog praising himself.
The other thing is I suspect that some of the comments or questions posted are set-up to catch you wrong-footed or to distract me from my work. It is almost like guerilla warfare out there. I must try to ignore all these nonsense & just concentrate on my work & the market.
Alex: You are most welcomed. I honestly can't really understand such meaningless behavior. It's such a disgrace. And yes, you should ignore such commentary in the future. As Dali once said, 'it's meaningless to wrestle with a pig in the mud'.
Cheers
Hey Moo,
I am not a "HE". I am a "SHE", it's real.
My parents are just too Cantonese, so does my given name. (I admit, the name sounds like a guy's).
Cheers!
p/s: that fellow changes name so many times, it is tiring to me even just reading 'em.
Oh dear! Sorry and edited. :)
a number of my friends are subscribers to his so-called private blog. they are complaining to me now as they are caught now with significant paper losses on quite a number of sam's so-called FA picks. i was told his excuse for the loss picks are when market is quiet, even good Qe will not be able to do anything to the stock price. Well do you agree with him? hahaha.
but why are there others who still make money now in the stock market when it is so quiet ?
he told his members that he want to help newbies in the stock market by teaching them FA and have good karma from doing so. well sam, let me tel you this : if you want to help newbies and have good karma, you can start by continue to give free advice to the readers like Nexttrade, Zemoola, Dali and many others. and good karma does not come with continuously criticising the other fellow bloggers and running them down when you catch them making a bad call.
you made bad calls yourself so you are not better than anyone else. and you think you can gain good karma by doing what you are doing now?
from my calculations, you certainly make much more money charging your readers a yearly subscription than from the stock market now. that's why you keep on running others down and gaining cheap publicity in order to attract the curious ones to subscribe just 1 year from your blog.
there are many ways to make money, but resorting to all these dirty tricks and continuously running down other bloggers, i am afraid that most of us do not agree to it. I hope the newbies stop subscribing to his private blog, if you subscribe you are condoning and accepting his dirty tricks and bad practices. there are many stock market blogs in Malaysia that generously share with readers. you just have to be a bit more diligent to find them.
