From the article:

  • The haulage business of Konsortium Logistik Bhd is believed to be up for sale as the country’s leading haulage operator, in terms of fleet size, wants to concentrate on the automotive and oil and gas logistics, industry players said.

Sources said the company had sent feelers into the market on its intention to sell the haulage business. However, the sale may not attract interest from potential buyers due to Konsortium Logistik’s ageing fleet.

The sources said Konsortium Logistik had been disposing some of its older prime movers in the past few years. It is understood that the company was renewing some of its older trucks.

It is believed. Industry players. It is understood.

And oh... sources here and sources there. Everywhere also sources!!!!

How ironic that our financial reporters seems to have abundance flow of sources!!!

The point of the aging prime movers is one huge point that cannot be discounted. Who would want to buy an old primer mover? Is there a super cheap sale???? The only value I can see is the haulage license...

I thought about this and I think the reporter can protect themselves from you by using this phrase:

"Sources that would like to remain anonymous says that...."

Ha ha....then you cannot tembak them liao!

Just my 2 cents
