That Silver Birdie.. Part VII

Just saw Silver Bird's latest earnings report.

Not too nice.

It's half year earnings totals just 2.243 million.

Amazing thing is that if you refer back to That Silver Birdie .. Part VI..

  • And the most interesting note is that Standard and Poors earnings estimate for fy 2006 to just 16.4 million.

    OSK estimates? 47.4 million!!!

And let me repeat myself yet again...

Oh... what I find so strange is that after their over whelming bullish write-up on Aug 2005, OSK did not have a follow-up article on Silver Bird.

I really wonder why... perhaps that little birdie just flew up, up and awayyyyyyy....

    :p

Toying with new idea

Hi all,

I am toying with an idea of creating a special community for all interested in making moola in the Bursa Malaysia.

Right now, I need to know if there is interest in this project or not. If there is, please make a reply and if possible, let me know what are you seeking for in this community. And if you are willing to help out in this project, send me an email at my_moolah@yahoo.com.

Ok?

Will love to hear from you all.

Cheers!

Anything can happen but do you know what you are doing?

Saw this nice little opening paragraph in today's FSO market wrap up.

  • Anything can happen in the markets, and that anything can move against you in two ways. Either you can be wrong in your fundamental analysis, or your analysis can be right and the market can disagree with your views long and hard enough to flush you out of your positions. If you are so set in your views that they will not change, then your position sizes must be in amounts where your hands will remain strong.

Interesting eh?

Things to consider:

1. Are you really investing investing?

2. Are you investing based on your perception of the market?

3. Or are you really trading based on your perception of your fundamental analysis?

4. Or are you trading based on your perception of your technical analysis of the market?

5. Or are you trading based on your perception of your technical and fundamental analysis of the market?

6. Or are you trading based on what you think the market is telling you?

How? Does it even matter?

So what are you thinking about?

Cheers!

It has begun..

Heyyyyyy I am talking about Ze World Cup!

Just in case you have not realise it but I do own a footie
blog (click here) and I do mumble quite a bit on footie. So if you are interested in some of my mumblings, do drop by for some fun!

Ze market?

Perhaps it's a great time to look back at ourselves, eh?

There's this couple of sayings I want to share...

  • If i learned all this so slowly it was because i learned by my mistakes, and some time always elapses betweeen making a mistake and realizing it, and more time between realizing it and exactly determining it.
  • If a man didn't make mistakes he'd own the world in a month. But if he didn't profit by his mistakes he wouldn't own a blessed thing.

Cheers!
