Having said that, I though Mexico should have done much better. If the finishing was anything world class, Mexico should have won by at least 2 clear goals but let's not take anything from Tshabalala! What a superb shot. He just hit it as hard as he could. Top corner!
Uruguay held France to a scoreless draw. It was a disappointing match. Clearly without a shadow of a doubt, the French had the skills but with their coach, the draw was expected. They had the ball, they had the skills but they were absolutely clueless on how to beat an average but well organised Uruguayan team. Totally inept and managed by the absolute clueless Raymond Domenech!
So after the first night of World Cup, I am now 1 for 1. Got the call correct on Mexico but lost out on the French. Perhaps I should have stated that the French (the match favourite) would not beat Uruguay. :P ( Wanna challenge? Stay tuned. :P
