Rooney's Statement Shows His Intent To Leave

Rooney's statement: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/oct/20/wayne-rooney-manchester-united

I thought that was a rather shallow statement from Rooney.

Last season, what was our biggest issue? The back 4. Rio was constantly injured (still is) and we needed backup. Well we signed Smalling. A signing which followed what we have been doing all these years. Signing young players with potential.

And last season, we depended too much on Rooney. We needed extra cover upfront. We signed Chichi. (Bebe.. does not count :P)

Maybe we do need a creative midfield player or an extra winger but we do have a lot of players in that section. Scholes, Giggs, Nani, Valencia, Park, Fletcher, Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves (would I consider him?) (Obertran does not count :P ). Ok Giggs and Scholes might need replacement soon, maybe next year but for now, the squad is fairly decent yes?

So what does Rooney mean by ambition?

Does ambition equals moooooney?

Of course I would love to see him stay but... he's got his mind set, hasn't he?

:/

Rooney's head has got too big for his shoulders. He won't stand for the hair-dryer treatment from his boss.

The only boss who can control him is Mourinho.
